About the Founder

Anjalee Narenthiren

Founder & CEO
Toronto, Canada

Ever since a young age, Anjalee has had a love for tinkering and creating things. In 2017 she founded TechExplore as a way to share that love with the rest of the world! Through it, she and her team of TechExplorers have inspired over a thousand kids through in-school workshops. Thanks to this success, TechExplore’s work has been featured in the Toronto Star, and the Board of Advisors quickly grew to include prominent executives like Shiv Venkataraman, VP of Engineering – Search Ads at Google and Ken Nickerson, CEO of iBinary LLC.

Anjalee is also a programmer for the 5225A the E-Bots PiLons, a VEX Robotics Team that won multiple World Championship titles in 2017-2018, beating out 20,000+ international teams. She has been involved with the team for over three years and has been coding for a majority of her life.

Thanks to her activism, programming background, and work with TechExplore, Anjalee has been invited to speak at prominent tech events across the continent. Some of these events include the 2018 Google Girl Powered Conference held at the Google Sunnyvale Campus in California, as well as the 2019 AI World Forum held in Toronto.
